To build a winter ice road across the Mackenzie River near Fort Providence, NT, along the traditional route used by the Department of Transportation. RTL is also requesting the use of the existing access roads, located on Commissioner's land, from Highway 3 to the ice crossing entrances. The access roads would be used to transport RTL's equipment to build and maintain the ice road crossing.
