Grey Wolf Exploration is proposing to conduct a short exploratory drilling program near Norman Wells, NT. Three wells will be drilled approximately 13 km I from Norman Wells (Figures 1 and 2). The wells will be drilled and tested in the 1998-1999 season. Well sites will be accessed by short extensions on the existing DOT winter road. The wells will be drilled to approximately 800 m deep to target an oil reservoir. The drilling is expected to take approximately 45 days.​
