On June 10, 11, and 12, the WLWB will hold a Public Hearing for DDMI Diavik Mine’s Type A Water Licence Renewal Application (W2015L2-0001).

Board staff are coordinating a daily shuttle service between Yellowknife and Behchokǫ̨̀̀. There is a limited number of seats available on the shuttle so we are seeking information now to be able to accommodate as many participants as possible. If you and/or representatives of your Party would like to reserve a seat(s) on the shuttle, please let Board staff know by email by May 21, 2025. If we do not hear from you by May 21, 2025, we will assume you do not require the shuttle service.

The Board will also be hosting a community dinner and time for general questions from the public in Behchokǫ̀, NT on (Wednesday, June 11) starting at 5:00pm at the Cultural Centre Hall. If you have questions about the hearing please email Marie-Eve Cyr via or call 867-765-4584.
