MARCH 30-31, 2022

WORKSHOP GOALS

The Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act Workshops are hosted by the Mackenzie Valley Review Board, the Land and Water Boards of the Mackenzie Valley, Crown Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, and the Government of the Northwest Territories. This will be a plain language workshop focused on the Co-management system in the Mackenzie Valley and related on-going initiatives of the host organizations.  The goals of this workshop are to:

  • Provide information on current initiatives, projects, and opportunities for engagement
  • Consider ways on how to build capacity and increase opportunities in the co-management system for Indigenous people of the Mackenzie Valley
  • Share knowledge, ideas, and experiences on existing co-management processes

An agenda for the workshop is available here.
