Regan Jeremick’ca was raised in Whatì and Behchokǫ̀, NT. He was nominated to the Wek’èezhìı Land and Water Board by the Tłı̨chǫ Government in 2024. Regan is passionate about traveling on the land, enjoys hunting, fishing, and trapping.

He has a wealth of experience which includes working with Tłı̨chǫ Logistics, the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation, the GNWT, Diavik and Ekati mines, as well as the Tłı̨chǫ Government. His experience also includes engaging with community members and elders, and attending Tłı̨chǫ cultural activities, events, meetings, and on the land programs.

Regan’s passion for learning and engaging with community led him to joining the land and water board. “I had a keen interest in learning about the Wek’èezhìı Land and Water Board as it affects our land, water, and resources within our Tłı̨chǫ communities. The environment is very important to me, and I want to make a difference.”
